• Comply with reasonable direction from the site manager or any PCBU on site. • Working hours are from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, management permission required for weekend work. • Comply with the WHS Management Plan. • All workers and contractors must complete a site safety induction prior to starting work. • All contractors must hold current public liability insurance ($20,000,000) • All contractors must wear a uniform for identification (minimum standard – corporate branded t-shirt) and carry identification. • Do not walk through barricaded areas. • Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times. • No smoking anywhere on site ($600 fine) • No fighting, bullying or aggressive behaviour. • Use personal protective equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and where directed by the site manager and in accordance with site signage. • Do not use any equipment you have not been trained / licenced to use. • Be conscious of others trades finished work & access spaces when working onsite with multiple trades in the one zone. • Report mess before you begin work & leave a clean workspace every day. • No illegal drugs or other substances are permitted on site or are to be consumed on site. If you are required to take strong prescription medication that warns against driving or using machinery, you must advise the principal contractor. • Report any incidents, dangerous events, serious bodily injuries or work-caused illnesses to the site manager. • Familiarise yourself with the fire exits & fire equipment. • Maintain all site amenities in a clean, tidy and hygienic state. • Follow safe lifting procedures at all times. • Place all rubbish in bins provided. • Do not talk loudly in stairwells or slam doors. ($600 fine) • Park only in allocated parking areas. • Be polite & give priority to hotel guests at all times. • Being well groomed is much appreciated by our clients & other trades working in the same zone. • Any unbecoming behaviour will result cancellation of contract. • Sign in/out of site every day, for safety reasons. We are firm but fair & respect the work provided by everyone onsite. Please do not hesitate to approach management with any feedback about your experiences on site
